Solidarity Minister Chairs Meeting in Kelaat Sraghna, Signs Partnership Agreement for Social Infrastructure

The meeting, chaired by the Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration, and Family, Naïma Ibn Yahya, on Wednesday morning at the headquarters of the Kelaat Sraghna province, was distinguished by the active and remarkable participation of the provincial parliamentarian, Abderrahim Ouamrou, alongside the provincial governor, Samir El Yazidi, the Director of National Cooperation, Khttar El Majahdi, and a number of elected officials and local and regional authorities.

This meeting took place within the framework of implementing the pillars of the social state, aiming to monitor and strengthen social care programs and combat vulnerability. The Minister emphasized that this visit is part of ongoing efforts to improve conditions for vulnerable groups and strengthen proximity services, commending the efforts of all partners. The presence and participation of Parliamentarian Abderrahim Ouamrou reflected continuous parliamentary support for development and social projects in the province. The provincial governor praised the importance of this visit in supporting social initiatives, commending the level of coordination between regional authorities and government sectors.

The meeting witnessed the signing of an important tripartite partnership agreement between the Ministry of Solidarity, the National Cooperation Institution, and the Regional Committee of the National Initiative for Human Development. This agreement primarily aims to strengthen social infrastructure in the province by establishing a new social complex in the city of Kelaat Sraghna. It also provides for the rehabilitation and equipping of the student hostel in Al Atawiya, which will improve services provided to vulnerable groups. This initiative seeks to enhance integration among various stakeholders to upgrade social care services and achieve effective inclusion of target groups. The Director of National Cooperation emphasized the strategic role of the institution in developing social centers and supporting child protection initiatives.

In this context, the presence and participation of Parliamentarian Abderrahim Ouamrou reflected continuous parliamentary support for development and social projects in the province. He contributed to efforts aimed at achieving program coherence between government sectors, elected councils, and regional authorities, ensuring optimal implementation of social empowerment and effective integration of vulnerable groups. His engagement is part of a strategy to strengthen local development by establishing a methodology of consultation and partnership among various institutional actors. In this sense, the presence of elected officials in such initiatives is a key lever for the success of social policies and achieving their development goals.

Following the meeting, the accompanying delegation joined the Minister on a field inspection tour of several social facilities in the province to assess their services. The tour included the multi-functional space for women in Kelaat Sraghna and the two centers for children in difficult situations in both Kelaat Sraghna and Al Atawiya. The delegation also visited the multi-functional complex in Al Atawiya to review various completed social projects and initiatives. This inspection tour is part of monitoring social care programs, supporting school enrollment, and combating vulnerability. The delegation listened to explanations about the services provided in these facilities, the challenges hindering their operation, and ways to enhance their effectiveness and sustainability.

This meeting and the signing of partnership agreements represent a tangible step toward building the desired social state in Kelaat Sraghna province. Parliamentarian Abderrahim Ouamrou, through his active and noticeable presence, has demonstrated his pivotal role as a link between citizens and institutions. These initiatives embody the spirit of cooperation and integration among various institutional actors and elected officials for the advancement of social work. They also affirm the need for collective efforts to ensure the sustainability of social projects and achieve the desired positive impact on the lives of target groups. The challenge remains to mobilize further support to strengthen this promising development dynamic in the province and to multiply similar initiatives in other regions.
