On the morning of Friday, June 5, Mr. Samir El Yazidi, Governor of the Province of Kelâat Sraghna, received Ms. Marissa Scott, Consul General of the United States of America in Morocco, who, along with some of her assistants, conducted an exploratory visit to certain social institutions in the city of Kelâat Sraghna, namely the Center for the Care of Children with Autism and the Trisomy Center.
The Consul General's visit provided an opportunity to learn about the facilities of both centers and the objectives for which they were established.
This visit falls within the framework of strengthening the historic bilateral relations extending over more than two centuries between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America, as well as the continued engagement of American diplomacy with Moroccan officials through a series of field visits and official meetings in various Moroccan provinces and regions.
The visit also aims to explore multiple cooperation opportunities and examine ways to strengthen cultural, economic, and social partnerships with local authorities and civil society actors.
This visit reflects the depth of the strategic and historic partnership between the United States and the Kingdom of Morocco.
