His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and sympathy to Mrs. Claude Chirac, following the death of her mother, Mrs. Bernadette Chirac.
In his message, the King stated: "We received with deep emotion the news of the passing of your mother, Mrs. Bernadette Chirac," expressing, on this painful occasion, to Mrs. Claude Chirac, as well as to all members of her family and her relatives, his sincerest condolences and words of sympathy.
His Majesty added that the Kingdom of Morocco "will preserve the memory of an exceptional personality who embodied loyalty and a rich legacy of human, family, and national values," recalling the memory of a woman who always held, alongside President Jacques Chirac, a loyal friend to Morocco and its people, a steadfast esteem for the Kingdom.
His Majesty the King affirmed in this message that "the bonds of mutual respect and trust, as well as the faithful friendship that have linked your family to the Moroccan Royal Family over the years, have contributed to strengthening the exceptional relations that have united the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic."
The King's message also stated: "We hold for your departed mother a special personal affection, woven from precious shared memories. As we share in your sorrow, we assure you of our full compassion in these moments filled with prayers for mercy and the remembrance of the deceased."
His Majesty expressed to Mrs. Claude Chirac, in this message, his sincerest feelings of sympathy and his pure affection.
